Giovanna is a digital-first strategist with a background in tech and politics. She believes in using digital to do all the good, and leverages new technologies to meet and mobilize voters where they are.
As Digital Director for the Florida Democratic Party in and For Our Future FL, a joint super PAC and action fund, she managed statewide digital programs producing social and earned media campaigns, peer-to-peer voter and volunteer outreach programs, and paid persuasion and mobilization campaigns across platforms.
Giovanna’s life in politics began on the ground as an organizer for Hillary for America. That’s where she learned that digital doesn’t end when you get to the field.
Before switching careers in 2015, Giovanna was the Director of Strategic Design at Rokk3r Labs, a company cobuilder and incubator in Miami, where she managed a team of designers and developers using human-centered design practices to build digital products in a variety of industries.
Giovanna is a graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn where she earned her BFA in Communications Design. She lives and works between Miami and NYC and has a passion for making progressive political campaigns more accessible and engaging, leveraging people’s personal networks to win elections, and building and maintaining a digital infrastructure that enables candidates and policy to win at every level of government.
